Pipe organ opportunity

SEEKING A QUALIFIED PIANIST AND EXPERIENCED ORGAN PLAYER TO SERVE AS BACK-UP TO OUR CHOIR DIRECTOR

   All  applicants must be able to read music, play piano and experienced with  an organ.  Applicants will be interviewed by the Director. You need not be a Church Member.  This is not a paid position but an opportunity to have unlimited access to our  piano and Churches Pipe Organ.  Zion has one of a few existing Pipe Organs built and installed after WWII.  How often do opportunities such as this come along which would allow unlimited access to a recently refitted Pipe Organ.  Applicant must be prepared to Stand-In for the  Organist when absent.   Generally, sufficient notice will be given.   Applicants may call 620-200-1356 for an appointment to view the church, the organ and our set up, discuss expectation, etc., prior to Directors  interview. 

Do you like to sing?  Is Gospel music your preferred music?

Consider joining US to re-build our once 12 member Choir.  If you enjoy singing Hymnal music and stepping into a part of history and church tradition then you are quickly invited.  Our expectations are that you make a commitment to to be available for rehearsals and each Sunday morning to help the congregation in praising God.  YOU DO NOT have to join the church.  If you are interested please call the church at 620-663-3513 and leave a message.  We will return your call as soon a possible.
