FUNDRAISERS

    *The Revitalization  Committee is researching the possibility of holding two community fundraisers in 2025 to help defray the cost of  installing new vinyl flooring in the Narthex (South Entrance).  The cost will be substantial but is necessary given the condition of the carpet and its age.  Why the Revitalization Committee? One of the first things people see when entering the Church is the floor.  A new wood grained vinyl floor would add to a greater first impression.

    *It is believed that there will be one sometime mid-summer and another in the fall.  We will keep everyone informed when decisions and details are ironed out.

COOKBOOKS

      **There are still plenty of Zion Anniversary Cookbooks in our inventory.   NOW  IS THE TIME TO CONSIDER PURCHASING A COOKBOOK FOR A BIRTHDAY GIFT , SHOWER GIFT, OR WEDDING GIFT.     Pick one up today.  On Sale to Members and Attending guests for only  $7.   Non-Members - $10.      MSR $45 .     These same books are being sold for $10 at a local hair salon.

Web Page Donations

       **You may now make monthly or special donations to Zion using your   zionhutch.com   web site. Donations through this site in now approaching $250 each month.  Thank you to those who are using your web site for your recurring monthly contributions.  It is our goal for 2025 to increase our monthly giving by 10%.  For us that means that our annual giving would increase by $3,000.  If each person would increase their giving by just $10 per month per person ($20 per family) this could increase our  income by $3,000+ over the year.  For some of us the WebSite would be an excellent tool for this.  While this is an easy way to support the church, please insure that you do not spend beyond your limits.

Zion's WebSite has seen considerable growth this past year.   During 2024 Zion has posted 1,485 Site Visitors with nearly 100 just during the month of December.   There have been 2,589 Social Views in 2024 with the vast majority coming from our u-tube account.  This activity has given us a WebSite Score of 60 which places us among many of the top scoring Sites.  Our WebSite is an excellent tool for reaching new people.  Zion is now also posted on faithstreet.com.  I expect that as we continue growing we will find some of these faces participating in Zion's Worship Service. If you are new to our WebSite please consider joining in an uplifting worship services experience every Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church.
